BELLINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF PLANNED FINAL ACTION
Notice is hereby given that the Bellingham City Council
will hold public meetings on Monday, June 22 and Monday, July 6, 2020 at
7:00 PM in City Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 210
Lottie Street, Bellingham, Washington and will consider the following matter:
City Council will consider taking the
final action authorizing legal proceedings if necessary to acquire by
condemnation certain real property interests in the following subject property
for a roadway project. The subject property is identified as: lots on
James Street, Bellingham, WA 98226, Whatcom County Tax Parcel Nos.
380318-482132-0000, 380318-422175-0000, 380318-497187-0000, and
380318-533149-0000. The final action will be made by ordinance. The
ordinance will be voted upon by City Council following first and second reading
on June 22 and again following third and final reading on July 6.

Public Comment: Anyone wishing to comment is invited to attend
the June 22 meeting and comment in person and/or send comments to the Council
Office, 210 Lottie Street, ccmail@cob.org, phone (360) 778-8200, or fax (360) 778-8101 prior to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday,
June 17 to be included in the agenda packet for the June 22 meeting. Comments
received after that time will be distributed to City Council, but not included
in the published packet.
SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19: Due to COVID-19, City Council may hold one or
both of these meetings remotely. Remote meetings are conducted through an
online web-based platform. If either meeting is to be held remotely it
will be announced in the agenda packet for the meeting, which will be published
five days prior to the meeting at meetings.cob.org.
Instruction on how to provide live comment during a remote meeting will be
provided in the agenda packet.
